Vulnerable Children in Need Australia (VCN Australia) is a Perth-based charity founded by community members, including church leaders and people who have lived through the humanitarian crisis in South Sudan. Our purpose is to help vulnerable children affected by that crisis, including those now living in Australia, to grow up in safety, with love, education and hope for the future.
Our mission begins here at home: building connections, listening to our community and laying strong foundations for future growth. We are currently focused on establishing our organisation and engaging with local South Sudanese families and youth. Through upcoming initiatives such as our Community Youth Forum, we aim to hear directly from young people and community leaders about how we can best support vulnerable children.
Join us as we turn faith and hope into action.
